Man shot dead in Central Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 16 (PTI) A 28-year-old man was shot deadby two persons when he was on his way back home in CentralDelhi early this morning.

Dilip, a resident of Punjabi Basti in Anand Parbat area,was shot at by two men at around 2: 45 am, a senior policeofficial said.

Dilip was rushed to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospitalwhere he was declared brought dead, the official said, addingpersonal enmity may be reason behind the attack.

A case of murder has been registered. Police said theyhave identified two people -- Devendra and Chandar who live inthe same area -- for killing Dilip and efforts were on toarrest them.
