Girl falls to death after slipping from hillock

New Delhi, Jan 16 (PTI) A minor girl fell to deathfrom a hillock in south Delhi while playing with her friendsthis afternoon, police said.

The incident took place in Rajaukri hills in VasantKunj at around 2:30 pm.

Mansi (10), a Class III student at a local governmentschool, slipped off the hillock and fell 40 feet down whensome sand beneath her feet gave way.

"She was playing with her friends. The sand below herfeet gave way as she was running to the other side," a seniorpolice official said.

The girl died on the spot, he added.
