Quit ''DID'' as I felt need for a change: Terence Lewis

Mumbai, Jan 16 (PTI) Choreographer Terence Lewis, whoattained fame as a judge in reality show ''Dance India Dance''(DID), says he decided to quit the show as he felt the needfor a change and to explore.

"I am completely indebted to Zee TV for giving me ''DID''as it brought me recognition and made me a household name. Itwas ''DID'' that gave me the platform to connect with audience.

I will miss ''DID''," Lewis told PTI.

Lewis will be seen judging ''Chak Dhoom Dhoom � TeamChallenge'', to be aired in television channel Colors, alongwith actor-dancer Javed Jaffery and sultry actress MallikaSherawat.

"It was time to do something different and move on. Andby move on I don''t mean you cut off your relationship. Iwanted to explore and experiment other things. One must learnto change with time," the choreographer said.

TV connects you with the audience which films can''t do.

One becomes the dinner table discussion. We are almost therein their house, he said.

''Chak Dhoom Dhoom � Team Challenge'' will showcase 12teams, between the age group of six to sixty, that willperform in groups of four or more. The show kick-startedyesterday.

"With group dance one can explore things like a movietheme, create stories, drama. Group dancing is new totelevision. It is an international culture that is stillgrowing in India," Lewis said.
