North East students condemn Chinese stapled visa
Itanagar, Jan 16 (PTI) North East Students''Organisation (NESO) has condemned China issuing stapled visato the people of Arunachal.
In a press statement here today, NESO secretarygeneral Gumjum Haider urged Centre to clarify its stand on thepeople of Arunachal Pradesh.
"If the people of Arunachal Pradesh are Indians, thenwhy are they treated like dual citizens by China? Why peopleof Arunachal cannot enjoy the same privileges and status thathave been enjoyed by other Indians," he said.
NESO has decided to meet prime minister and other topleaders in New Delhi by the first week of February to discussthe issue.
