Law student murder case: Jan 18 next hearing date
Faizabad, Jan 15 (PTI) A local court has fixed January 18as the next date of hearing in the murder case of a24-year-old law student in which former Uttar Pradesh ministerand BSP MLA Anand Sen Yadav has been accused.
Yadav and his driver Vijay Sen, another co-accused, wereproduced before the special court of additional district judgeMatambar Singh yesterday.
The four-year old case relates to the abduction andkilling of Faizabad law student Shashi, a member of Dalitcommunity.
Yadav was charged with masterminding the incident and wasdropped from the BSP cabinet after his name cropped up in thecase.
The prosecution has produced 32 witnesses against Yadav,who is accused of conspiring the murder that was allegedlycarried out by his driver and Sima Azad, a close friend ofShashi. Yadav has been behind the bars for last 28 months. PTICOR
