Israeli drug lord was using human couriers, chargesheet says

Panaji, Jan 16 (PTI) Israeli drug peddler David Drihamalias Dudu who is now facing trial here, was using humancouriers to smuggle drugs into Goa from the countries likeNepal, according to the chargesheet.

The probe by the Anti Narcotic Cell (ANC) revealed thatDudu was bringing drugs from Nepal, Manali, Nigeria and SouthAmerica, among other places, chargesheet says.

Nepali girls and boys would travel by train and buses toGoa, bringing drugs like charas and ganja. Other drugs likecocaine, Ecstasy, LSD, MDMA, heroin were brought by Nigerians.

The chargesheet was filed before the Special NarcoticsDrugs and Psychotropic Substances Act Court last month.

The Israeli drug lord, who was arrested in February 2010,is now again in the news, after his sister Ayala Driham andgirlfriend Zarina caught Police Sub Inspector Sunil Guddler ofANC on camera selling drugs to them a few days ago.

Ayala claims that her brother was innocent, and wasframed up by Goa police. PSI Guddler is now facing probe byspecial investigation team.

As to Dudu, police say that he was active in the drugtrade even from inside the jail. He allegedly possessed amobile, through which he was in contact with his associates.

He even updated his facebook account using the phone before itwas confiscated. .
