Hang BSP MLA & save me, cries Banda rape victim

Banda/UP, Jan 16: After severe 33 days' experience in jail, the victim of BSP MLA, Purushottam Dwivedi's unnatural lust, demanded strong action against the accused. The minor girl in Uttar Pradesh also prayed for her safety.

After her release from jail, the 17-year-old Dalit rape victim screamed, "I want that he should be hanged. I am very afraid. I want that I should be given a safe place to live."

The victim stated that the accused MLA's goons tried to kill her after MLA Purshottam allegedly raped her and in the police custody, she was beaten by the cops in front of the MLA's brother.

"The policemen there beat me up. His (MLA's) brother Raja was sitting right there in front," informed the minor girl and also said, "The MLA said he would make sure I never returned home and if I did, he would shoot me dead."

Chief Minister Mayawati's party, BSP faced tremendous criticism over the involvement of MLA in the rape case and it tried to heal the injuries by releasing the teenage victim who was falsely fabricated in a theft case after she was allegedly raped by the BSP MLA.
