UP promotes 11 ADG-rank officers to Spl DG rank

Lucknow, Jan 15 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh government haspromoted 11 Additional Director General (ADG)-rank IPSofficers to DGP (Special) rank, official sources said heretoday.

The officers promoted included ADG, Police Training,Sitapur H S Balwaria, MD, UP Police Housing Corporation,Ramesh Sehgal, ADG, Human Rights B M Saraswat, ADG, UP PowerCorporation Limited Shailja Kant Mishra and ADG, Law and orderBrijlal.

Besides, ADG, Personnel Mumtaz Ahmad, ADG, PoliceTraining, Moradabad Ambrish Chandra Sharma, ADG, Food Cell,Vinod Kumar Singh, ADG, Fire Services Arun Kumar Gupta, ADG,Cooperative O P Dixit and ADG, Intelligence Malkiyat Singhhave also been promoted, they said.

All these officers will remain at their presentpositions after promotions.
