Three arrested for attempting to murder history-sheeter

Amravati, Jan 14 (PTI) Three persons were arrested by ateam of city police in Madhya Pradesh''s Khandwa town inconnection with the attempt to murder a history-sheeter inKharkadipura here on Monday, police said today.

The three accused identified as Dinesh Jaiswal (22),Rahul Rajput (21), both from Burhanpur town of Madhya Pradesh,and Lokesh Suresh Bhandare (20) of Khandwa had allegedly takena contract to kill a history-sheeter Ravi Wankhade from themain accused Durga Jaiswal, who has been arrested fromAmravati, and her son Akshay, they said.

According to police, during interrogation, Jaiswalrevealed that she had hired the trio as she wanted to takerevenge of her husband''s murder, which was allegedly committedby Ravi in 2007.

Following her disclosure, a team of city police went toMadhya Pradesh yesterday and nabbed the trio, they said. PTICOR
