Petrol prices to mount by Rs 2.54 per litre from midnight tonight

New Delhi, Jan 15 (ANI): Following an increase in international crude oil prices, state-owned oil companies raised petrol prices by Rs 2.50-Rs 2.54 per litre for the second time in a month, which will come into effect from midnight tonight.

Indian Oil Corp, the nation's largest fuel retailer, will raise petrol prices by Rs 2.50 per litre, while Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) would hike rates by Rs 2.54 a litre. Bharat Petroleum Corp, the third state fuel retailer, would raise price by Rs 2.53 per litre, Times Now reports.

The petrol would be sold Rs. 58.37 a litre at IOC outlets in Delhi, while the fuel at HPCL and BPCL pumps would be sold at Rs. 58.39 per litre from tomorrow.

The IOC, BPCL and HPCL have revised the rates almost six times since June 26. (ANI)
