Lucknow, Jan 15: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has ordered to free the victim of Banda rape case. The 17-year-old Dalit girl, who was allegedly raped by BSP MLA, Purushottam Dwivedi, got justice after staying one month in jail.

"From the prima facie it seems that the girl was wrongly framed by the MLA in theft case... will constitute fast-track court to get justice... if the MLA is found guilty of raping the girl will act against the MLA," Mayawati said while speaking on the occasion of her birthday.

Mean while the investigative agency CB-CID said in their report that theft charges against the victim was baseless and there was no evidence to show victim had stole the money form MLA's home. Sources said that CB-CID will release the victim shortly.
