Mayawati's birthday: Banda rape victim to be freed
Mayawati, who is celebrating her 55th on Saturday, Jan 15, said that the theft case against the victim was wrongly framed by Purushottam Dwivedi. She also added that government will constitute a fast-track court to get justice to the victim.

"From the prima facie it seems that the girl was wrongly framed by the MLA in theft case... will constitute fast-track court to get justice... if the MLA is found guilty of raping the girl will act against the MLA," Mayawati said while speaking on the occasion of her birthday.
Mean while the investigative agency CB-CID said in their report that theft charges against the victim was baseless and there was no evidence to show victim had stole the money form MLA's home. Sources said that CB-CID will release the victim shortly.
