Centre directs company to complete ICP by middle of April
Attari, Jan 14 (PTI) A senior official of the Union HomeMinistry today inspected the Integrated Check Post (ICP) atthe border here and directed all agencies to complete theconstruction work by middle of April.
Secretary (Border Management), A E Ahmed directed theconstruction company M/s Rajdeep and Rohan to ensure that allthe civil work is completed in time.
Ahmed also inspected all the buildings and roads beingconstructed and asked customs authority to arrange forscanners to be installed at the ICP, which is spread over 130acres.
This is the first of the 13 ICPs which is scheduled tostart functioning in April.
