Case against five for illegal recruitment 30 yrs ago
Patna, Jan 14 (PTI) The Vigilance bureau hasregistered a case against retired regional education deputydirector Muzibur Rahman, the then district educationsuperintendent at Rohtas Aleem Jang Khan and three others forallegedly misusing their power in recruitment of teachers 30years ago, an official release said today.
The case was registered against Rahman and others inconnection with teachers'' recruitment in Rohtas district in1980 following an enquiry report by two vigilance teams, therelease said.
Md. Nizamuddin Khan, a retired education departmentemployee then posted at district education office in Bhojpurand two dismissed teachers - Rukhsana Khanas and Md. ParvezAkhtar -- have been named as the other accused.
The vigilance bureau has also decided to investigatethe disproportionate assets to the tune of Rs. 9.50 lakhamassed by Khan and his wife and to find out whether theamount was raised through illegal appointment of teachers inRohtas district.
