Two die of cold in West Bengal
Malda (WB), Jan 14 (PTI) The cold wave conditionswhich continued to sweep West Bengal has claimed life twopersons in Malda district, police said today.
A poor old woman died of cold this morning in Habibpurwhile in Bamongola block 47-year-old Budhia Tutu passed awaylast night after he had gone out in search for his missingcow.
This winter, mercury levels dipped to a minumum offive degree Celsius breaking a 20-year-old record of eightdegree in the district.
Yesterday''s temperature was recorded at 7.2 degree,the local Met office said.
