Three arrested for aiding militant
Srinagar, Jan 13 (PTI) Three alleged over ground workersof militants were arrested in Ganderbal district of centralKashmir, police said today.
The three OGWs have been arrested from Ganderbal districttown, 23 kms from here, for providing logistic support and SIMcards to Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, a dreaded militant who isinvolved in 25 civilian killings in the area, a policespokesman said.
The three arrested persons have been identified as GulzarAhmad Khatana, Mohammad Shafi Banya and Abdul Khaliq, he said.
One mobile phone and a few SIM cards were recovered fromtheir possession and a case under the Unlawful Activities(Prevention) Act has been registered against them, thespokesman said.
