Chhatarpur(MP),Jan 13 (PTI) Madhya Pradesh Chief MinisterShivraj Singh Chouhan today said that the whole of Kashmircould have been part of India if the first Prime MinisterJawaharlal Nehru had not commited certain mistakes.
"If Jawaharlal Nehru had not called for cease fire and thefirst war with Pakistan in 1947 would have continued for twomore days, the entire Kashmir could have become part ofIndia," Chouhan said addressing a function of BJP Yuva Morchaat Khajuraho near here.
"Nehru made a historic mistake," he remarked.
He said that after Indepedence, the work of incorporatingthe princely states with India was assigned to the then HomeMinister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, but Nehru kept the Kashmirissue in his hand.
