Elections in 3 municipalities, 11 Gram Panchayat in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Jan 13 (PTI) A notification for elections inthree municipalities and 11 Gram Panchayats in Rajasthan wasissued today, an official of the state election commissionsaid here.

The polling for three Chairpersons and 75 ward members ofthree municipalities -- Malpura and Todaraisingh in Tonkdistrict and Rajsamand in Rajsamand district -- will takeplace on January 28, the official said.

The last date for filing nomination papers is January 17.

While scrutiny will be done on January 18, the last date ofwithdrawal is January 20 and counting will take place onJanuary 30, he said.

Similarly, polling to elect Panch and Sarpanch in 10Gram Panchayats in Ajmer and one in Jaipur district will takeplace on January 23, the official said.
