Cold condition improves in Bihar

Patna, Jan 14 (PTI) Bright sunshine for the secondconsecutive day today mitigated the cold conditions in Biharwith the minimum temperature increasing in most parts of thestate.

The northwesterly cold winds have subsided adding tothe comfort of the people of the state, MeT office sourcessaid.

Patna continued to remain the coldest place in Biharwith a minimum temperature of 4.6 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature in Purnia improved by 1.4degrees Celsius and settled at 5.4 deg C, while Bhagalpurrecorded a minimum temperature of 9.8 degrees Celsius, up bytwo notches since yesterday, they said.

Gaya recorded a minimum temperature of 6.1 degreesCelsius - up by one degree since yesterday, while inMuzaffarpur it was 6.3 degrees Celsius, an increase of 1.1degrees.

The MeT office has forecast clear sky and brightsunshine for next two days.
