Woman on way to hospital for chest pain dies in road mishap

Thanjavur (TN), Jan 12 (PTI) A 25-year old woman, beingrushed to a hospital on a two-wheeler after she complained ofchest pain, died when her husband riding the vehicle at highspeed lost control and dashed against a tree near here.

The man suffered serious injuries and has been admitted tothe Medical College Hospital here, police said today.

Kavitha (25), wife of Tamizharasan of Tharisuveli village,felt uneasiness and complained of chest pain past midnightyesterday. Tamizharasan took her on his motor-bike to nearbyMannargudi Government Hospital.

When she told him that the pain was increasing,Tamizharasan drove the two-wheeler very fast in his anxiety torush her to hospital and lost control and rammed into aroadside tree. Kavitha fell down and died on the spot.
