Public welfare camp to be organised on CM''s birthday

Noida, Jan 12 (PTI) Allotment letters under varioushousing schemes will be given on January 15, the birthday ofUttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, a senior districtofficial said today.

"On the day, allotment letters will be issued underMahamaya Garib Awas, Urban Garib Awas schemes to the poorpeople," District Magistrate Deepak Aggarwal said.

Savitri Bai Phoole Balika Shiksha Madad Yojna, MahamayaGarib Balika Ashirwad Yojna, Widow Pension, Old Pension,Handicap pension beneficiaries will be given cheques, he said,adding handicap persons will be provided with artificial limbsand wheel-chairs.

On that day students scholarship week will also belaunched. Nodal officers at panchayat level will make surethat scholarships are distributed to the needy students,Aggarwal said.
