Youth arrested for "molesting" minor girl

Mumbai, Jan 12 (PTI) A youth was arrested forallegedly molesting a minor girl at his residence in NehruNagar, police said today.

Arif Ansari (20), who runs a bakery owned by hisfather, took the five-year-old, who had come to buy bread, tohis residence attached to the shop and misbehaved with her onMonday, they said.

"The victim''s mother said Ansari touched her daughterinappropriately and also filmed her in objectionable way.

Subsequently, an FIR was lodged," they said.

Deputy Police Commissioner Dilip Sawant "Ansari wasarrested from his shop soon after the FIR filed. His cellphonewas seized, but no MMS clip was found from it."

Ansari was booked under IPC Section 354 (outragingmodesty).

The Nehru Nagar area was in the news for wrong reasonslast year as three minor girls had been raped and murdered.
