Woman bobbitises and murders husband

Mandya(Kar), Jan 11 (PTI) Angered by her husband frequentlyquestioning her over a relationship with another man, a womanallegedly chopped off his genitals and murdered him while hewas asleep at a village in Panduvapura taluk today, the policesaid.

They said Swami Shetty tied the knot with Ratnamma in 2003But their relationship soured after she started meetingMallesh who used to frequently visit her house, resulting inregular friction between the couple.

Yesterday, Swami had warned his wife against continuingthe relationship.

The police said a furious Ratnamma then hatched a plotwith the help of Mallesh to murder Swamy. She gave him somesleeping pills mixed in a beverage, bobbittised him and thenmurdered him.

While Ratnamma has been arrested, the police havelaunched a search for Mallesh.
