Pilot runs over restaurant manager in roadrage, murder case

New Delhi, Jan 11 (PTI) In an incident of road rage, ayoung restaurant manager was killed here today when a JetAirways pilot allegedly ran his car over him after theirvehicles collided.

The police said the incident took place near Khan Marketin central Delhi at around 1:50 pm after the cars driven byVikas Aggarwal, the pilot, and Rajiv Jolly, a manager at aKhan Market restaurant, met with a minor collision at atraffic signal.

Jolly came out of his car and allegedly entered intoan argument with the pilot and thrashed him, a senior policeofficial said. Jolly and Aggarwal are in their early thirties.

"Aggarwal was inside his car. Suddenly, he moved hisvehicle forward and Jolly fell down and came under the wheels.

It is not clear whether the pilot did this intentionally orwas just trying to flee the spot," the official said.

Jolly was rushed to the hospital where he was declaredbrought dead.

The pilot was arrested and a murder case registeredagainst him.
