Over 3000 selected for medical tests for army recruitment

Amravati, Jan 11 (PTI) A total of 3,100 candidates wereselected for the medical test, as the army recruitment drivecame to an end here today.

The medical test of all the selected candidates will beheld in Nagpur on January 19.

The army recruitment drive for the posts of soldier(G.D.), soldier (technical), soldier (nursing assistant) andsoldier (clerk/store keeper) was organised here from January5.

Candidates from all the districts of Vidarbha andMarathwada participated in the drive. Those who were selectedincluded 2,400 candidates from Vidarbha and 700 fromMarathwada.

Those who will clear the medical test would have toappear for the Common Entrance Test and on passing it, theywill be recruited in the Army.
