Meerut CMO rebuked by UP health minister

Meerut, Jan 11 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh health minister camehard on the Chief Medical Officer for not providingsatisfactory information regarding health services in thedistrict, officials said today.

Participating in a meeting yesterday with the CMO SubhodhKumar Tewari and various district health officials here, A KMishra expressed anger at the incomplete record of doctors whohave been assigned duties under the pulse polio immunisationprogramme in the district, they said.

The CMO was also not able to come up with a satisfactoryanswer regarding number of ambulances available in thedistrict, they said, adding officials were also unable topresent data about the number of government doctors working inthe district.
