Long-distance trains continue to arrive late in Bhopal

Bhopal, Jan 12 (PTI) Several long distance trainsarriving here from North continued to run inordinately latedue to intense cold conditions and foggy weather along therail route.

The later arrivals included Karnataka Express which waslate by nine hours, the New Delhi-Jabalpur Express (10 hours),the GT Express (11 hours) and the Gondwana Express (14 hours).

However, there has been considerable improvement in sometrain schedules of late.

The Bhopal Express which till sometime back was runningaround eight hours late was only three hours late yesterday.

Similarly, the New Delhi-Bhopal Shatabdi Express was late byonly an hour.
