JK school education board to have new head soon: Minister
Jammu, Jan 12 (PTI) The Jammu and Kashmir school educationboard is likely to have a new chairman with a committee set upto finalise a name for the post, lying vacant for two months,scheduled to meet soon.
"A four-member search committee headed byCommissioner-cum-Secretary Naseema Lankar will meet on January16 to finalise the name of the Chairman of the Board of SchoolEducation (BOSE)," Education Minister Peerzada Mohammad Sayeedtold reporters here.
The post fell vacant after the retirement of Prof DeshBhanu two months back.
Four names have been shortlisted for the post, which iscurrently being held by Lanker as an additional charge.
