J-K suspends four power employees
Jammu, Jan 11 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir government hassuspended four employees of Power Development Department overalleged illegal power connection and thefts in the city.
During a surprise visit by Chief Engineer, PDD, Jammu,Mohmmad Qasim in Channi Himat area of the city, hundreds ofillegal connection of electricity were detected besides powertheft, officials said here today.
He along with his team disconnected over 50 illegalconnections, they said adding that he also ordered suspensionof 4 PDD employees -- Tarvant Dutt, Krishen Kumar (linemen),Shib Kumar Dubey and Puran Chand (meter readers).
