Ireland: Cops arrest trio over Michaela murder

Ireland, Jan 12: The Mauritius police has arrested three persons in connection with murder of Michaela McAreavey the daughter of Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) manager Mickey Harte.

The 27-year-old Michaela McAreavey married John McAreavey, footballer in GAA, just after Christmas.
Mrs McAreavey, when she was on honeymoon in Indian Ocean Island, was found dead in her hotel room by her husband John on Tuesday, Jan 11.

The postmortem report declared that Mrs McAreavey was strangled to death.

The police officials suspected two room attendants and supervisor related to Mrs McAreavey's death. They are Avinash Treebhoowoon, Raj Theekoy and floor supervisor Sandip Moneea.
