Health ministers confer at Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Jan 12 (ANI): The Ministers and Secretaries of health and medical education departments from different states of India are meeting here today.

About 25 Ministers and Secretaries of health and medical education are scheduled to take part in the two-day conference, which will be inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Union Minister for Health and Family welfare Gulam Nabi Azad will preside over the inaugural ceremony.

The conference is expected to review the current state of implementation of health programmes in the country and the steps to be taken for strengthening them.

In addition, a host of issues related to health sector will come up for discussion during the conference. (ANI)
