Cold wave leaves Bihar trembling
Patna, Jan 12 (PTI) Intense cold wave conditionsprevailed in Bihar with the minimum temperature decreasingfurther in many areas in the state where Gaya was the coldestat 3.1 degrees Celsius.
Icy winds continued to sweep the state, aggravatingthe cold wave conditions with the state capital recording aminimum temperature of 3.7 degrees Celsius.
Several other towns recorded a moderate to sharpdecline in the minimum temperature with Purnia registering 4.3degrees Celsius as against yesterday''s 5.9 degrees whileBhagalpur witnessed a slight increase in the minimumtemperature at 7.8 degrees Celsius, the met office said.
The cold wave condition is likely to continue forthe next two days.
