Ayurvedic medicine shortage in MCD dispensaries
New Delhi, Jan 11 (PTI) A number of dispensariesrunning under the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) arefacing shortage of ayurvedic medicines due to funds crunch.
This was stated by MCD Public Health CommitteeChairman V K Monga while presenting the health department''sbudget for 2011-12 at a meeting of the Standing Committee.
Officials said since the last two years, most of thedispensaries could not be able to replenish the stock ofayurvedic medicines as they do not have the required funds.
They said there is shortage of medicines used in the''panchkarma'' therapy of ayurveda.
