AIPWC demand''s Dy CM''s resignation
Purnia, Jan 11 (PTI) All India Progressive Women''sCommittee (AIPWC) today demanded the the resignation of BiharDeputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi for ''castingaspersions'' on the character of Rupam Pathak, the allegedkiller of BJP MLA Raj Kishore Keshri.
AIPWC national president Suhasini Ali also demanded hisresignation for trying to influence the police investigationin the case.
Ali, who along with AIPWC activists staged ademonstration here after being denied permission by the jailauthorities to meet Pathak, alleged it was a conspiracy.
AIPWC would not let the issue of alleged sexualexploitation of Pathak by the slain BJP MLA die down, she saidadding the members would stage a demonstration in Patnatomorrow and in New Delhi on a later date to highlight herplight.
Ali also demanded proper facilities for Pathak in thejail.
She also demanded the unconditional release of localjournalist Nawlesh Pathak, who she said was framed in themurder case.
