''84 riots should not be politicised: Canadian MP
Ludhiana, Jan 12 (PTI) Terming 1984 anti-Sikh riots as an"organised violent campaign", a visiting Canadian MP todaysaid the massacre should not be politicised.
"The carnage of Sikhs in Delhi and other parts of thecountry was not only a blatant violation of the human rightsbut also an organised violent campaign against the community,"Sukhminder Singh alias Sukh Dhaliwal said here.
The issue should not be politicised, he said.
The Canadian MP was addressing a group of the riotvictims at Tajpur road.
Dhaliwal said he would write to Prime Minister ManmohanSingh and Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal regardingthe rehabilitation of the riot victims.
