Free app 'Park Patrol' alerts drivers of lurking parking officers
Sydney, Jan 11 (ANI): A new application called ParkPatrol helps you dodge parking officers lurking near your parked car.
Available on iPhone, BlackBerry and Android platforms, the app sends you an alert the minute it senses parking officers within 200 metres of your car.
You can also use the parking timer to remind yourself when it's time to madly rush down to feed the meter, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
According to its developers at crwdpower.com, about 30,000 Sydney users have downloaded the app, with 10,000 constant users.
ParkPatrol is free to download and easy to use. Other mobile users who have the application on their phones can also alert you of parking officers headed your way.
The developers' next application will allow women to identify hunky men around the city and post a photo on the 'man-map'. (ANI)
