BSP MLA did indeed rape minor girl finds CB-CID

New Delhi, Jan 11: The BSP MLA, Purshottam Dwivedi grabbed headlines with his gross abuse of power of authority is back in the news again. He was earlier accused of raping an under-age Dalit girl of 17 years and he then falsely accused her of theft charges.

The accused, Purshottam Dwivedi denied all allegations and led everybody to believe that he was framed. But now, the cat is out of the bag with the CB-CID investigating and revealing that Dwivedi did indeed rape the girl.

The Uttar Pradesh government had been in a tizzy over public outcry from various political groups over the MLAs misdemeanor. The rape victim was put behind bars after the MLAs men falsely accused her of stealing clothes and jewelery from the MLAs household. He had also accused her with stealing his pistol and Rs 5000.

The MLA was suspended soon after the case came to light and the Mayawati government ordered a probe into the matter. Now with the findings of the CB-CID the case takes a new turn and reveals the sorry state of affairs of people enjoying the seat of power.

The CB-CID has also found that the theft charges against the girl was false as well.
