'Cry rape' weather girl lied out of 'stress'

New York, Jan 6 (ANI): TV meteorologist Heidi Jones admitted she made up the rape story out of 'stress', according to court documents.

The pressure of work, family and "personal issues" made her do it, her newly-released criminal complaint quotes Jones telling a detective at a Midtown precinct three weeks ago, reports the New York Post.

"I did make this up," the papers quote her saying.

"I made it up for attention. I have so much stress at work, with my personal life and with my family. I know there is no justification for it." (ANI)
