K'taka: Assembly storm hampers business
As soon as Bhardwaj entered the house, leaders like Siddaramaiah from the Congress and HD Revanna leader of the JD(S), demanded Yeddyurappa to quit from his chief Minister-ship over his various allegations, particularly over his nepotism in allotting the land to his kin in and around the Bangalore.
Within minutes of starting the speech, Bhardwaj abandoned the effort and left the hall. Yeddyurappa and BJP party members maintained silence, amid of the ruckus created by the opposition. Speaker KG Bopaiah adjourned the house to meet Friday.
The uproar was expected in the assembly as the JD(S) had announced that it would not allow for the smooth proceedings in the house until Yeddyurappa quits.
