Delhi temperature: Capital experiences coldest day

New Delhi, Jan 5: The national capital, New Delhi experienced the coldest time in this winter in 2010-2011 as the morning temperature hovered around 5-6 degree Celsius on Wednesday, Jan 5.

According the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the capital experienced the chilliest day on Tuesday, Jan 4, as temperature dropped 12.7 degree Celsius and reached 3.7 degree Celsius, three degrees below normal for this time of the year.

It was a foggy weather in the morning on Jan 5 and forecast stated the temperature in Delhi today (Jan 5) will move around 12 degrees and 2 degrees Celsius as maximum and minimum respectively.

According weather forecast, the maximum and minimum temperatures would be 13 and 3 degrees Celsius on Thursday, Jan 6 and 14 and 4 degrees Celsius on Friday, Jan 7.

Citing the condition of the temperature, the IGI airport authorities advised all travellers to leave for the airport only after reconfirming the departure times of their flights with the airlines concerned.
