Opera to launch browser for tablet PCs

California, Jan 4: World's most popular mobile browser, Opera, is all set to unveil its tablet version at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011, which starts on Jan 6 in Las Vegas.

Opera has showcased the features of the their new browser exclusively for tablets in a video uploaded on YouTube. Anyhow, Opera has not officially announced the exciting features of the tablet browser. According to sources, the new browser will be more fast and loads in less than a second.

The new browser will enhance smooth panning and smooth zooming functions on tablets. Some sources close to company added that the new browser will be launched for Google Android running tablets and later extends to other operating systems.

Opera has exclusive browsers for mobiles namely Opera Mini and Opera Mobile. With Opera's new move, users expect tablet browsers from Google and Microsoft. Will we get Google Chrome and Internet Explorer tablet browsers. Wait and see.
