Microsoft to unveil Windows TV at CES

Las Vegas, Jan 4: The latest buzz in gadget market is the rumors of Microsoft's Windows TV. Media reported that Microsoft is planning to showcase its new kid in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011, which will kick start on Jan 6 in Las Vegas.

Seattle Times reported that the computer giant Microsoft plans to extend its fight on Apple and Google by launching the Windows TV. The reports added that Windows TV Set Top Boxes (STB) will have the Windows Media Center interface.

Some unofficial reports also added that Windows TV will have a streamlined TV program guide that pulls together online and broadcast content simultaneously. The STBs can also be used for streaming content to and from other PCs.

Anyhow, Microsoft has not given any official clarification about the Windows TV rumors. Stay tuned for more updates.
