Bengal CM Buddhadeb favours child labour

According to CNN IBN report, Buddhadeb said, "We can't ask them to stop work because that will affect their families' source of income. We have decided to make them study while at work."
West Bengal govt lacks a commission for protection of child rights and yet not framed rules to execute “Right to Education."
CNN IBN quoted Leader of opposition Partha Chatterjee, as saying, “Childhood is the time to play, enjoy study, they have ignored the core issue of poverty."
National convenor Prabir Basu said, "How can the childhood be sacrificed?"
Earlier the Chief Minister was criticized for asking primary teachers to canvass for the party. Now Buddhadeb gave another opportunity for Trinamool Congress to slam the CPI-M govt, while the elections are ahead.
