Flood strikes Oz; Life on a stand still

Prime Minister Julia Gillard said that Australia will generate the aid to flood-stricken area as soon as possible. According to sources 41 areas has been announced natural disaster zone.
Queensland Premier Anna Bligh said, “This is without a doubt a tragedy on an unprecedented scale." She added “The damage due to flood will be in the billion of dollars."
On Friday, Dec 31, 11 areas in Queensland remained under the threat of flood, according to Australia"s Bureau of Meteorology. According to the Bureau showers and stroms are forecasted to sustain across the town at-least till Jan 5.
Military aircrafts dropped food packets in the flooded sites on Friday. Sources said at-least 200,000 people will be badly troubled by the massive water-shed.
