Govt. issues show cause notice to colors show for showing violence
New Delhi, Dec 29 (ANI): Information and Broadcasting Ministry on Wednesday issued a show-cause notice to Colors channel for its show 'Rishton Se Badi Pratha', saying it shows excessive violence.
According to reports, the show, which is aired on prime time, is based on honour killings.
Moreover, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry finds depiction of torture on a female character as barbaric, and finds it unsuitable for viewing by the children. (ANI)
