7 insurgents killed in Pakistan's encounter

Islamabad, Dec 29: At least seven insurgents were killed when security forces attacked militant hideouts in Pakistan's Kurram tribal region.

Several militants were also reportedly injured when forces targeted their hideouts using gunship helicopters in central Kurram, the Dawn reported.

Two militant hideouts were also destroyed in the action.
