Kolkata, Dec 27: The war of words seems to continue between the politicians over Home Minister P Chidambaram's letter to West Bengal government as CPI(M) state secretary Biman Bose said that laek of the letter among media was "unthinkable."

"The way the letter, which has reached the State government after 11 o'clock today (Dec 27), has been leaked to media is unthinkable and uncalled for," stated Bose on Monday, Dec 27.

"How can this happen?" Bose wondered saying the contents of the letter were the same as leaked to the media.

About the contents of the letter which called for disarming of armed CPI(M) cadres in the State, Mr Bose said that the Centre should not be "moving in a partisan manner to help interests" of the Trinamool Congress.

"It is very dangerous. It is wrong to leak the letter to the media. In this the political interests of the Trinamool Congress have been served," Mr Bose, who is the Left Front chairman, said and called the letter "motivated."

On Sunday, Dec 26, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee slammed CPI(M) as he claimed that "Jungle raj" and terror produced by the party forced the state backward.
