Delhi raids over; Kalmadi ready to face all probe

New Delhi, Dec 24: The raids at CWG chief Suresh Kalmadi's Delhi residence on Friday, Dec 24 has been over. The raid was continued for more than eight hours.

Soon after the raids was finished, Commonwealth Games (CWG) chief Kalmadi in his statements to media claimed that he with his other aids, handed over all CWG related important documents to the CBI officials.

"I have no complaint to anyone. I'm totally ready to face any kind of investigation with full cooperation," stated Kalmadi while speaking to the media on Dec 24.

According the sources, CBI has seized several CWG related documents, two laptops and other important things from Kalmadi's house in the capital. Though CBI did not disclose any facts regarding their raids at Kalmadi's houses and his personal secretary Manoj Bhure as the raids in Mumbai and Pune are still on the process.

However, after completing the raids, Kalmadi's close aide Manoj Bhure has been taken to the head quarter of the CBI.

The Common Wealth Games 2010 had controversy written all over it since the start in the capital. Recently, three other close aides of Kalmadi, Darbari, Mahendroo and Jayachandan have been detained by the CBI.

According the sources, FIR against Kalmadi likely to be registered by the evening of Friday, Dec 24.
