ULFA leader ready to sacrifice son for free Assam

Shillong, Dec 23: Paresh Baruah, the leader of United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) on Thursday, Dec 23 declared that he is ready to sacrifice the life of his son for the sake of "free Assam."

As an email from Baruah to all media organisation informed that the son of the ULFA leader has been allegedly "abducted", though the time has not been revealed that when and from where his son has allegedly been kidnapped.

"The attempts to force us to surrender or forsake the ideals and principles of the group by holding our child as hostage will not bear any fruit. There cannot be compromise on the question of sovereignty," stated Baruah in the mail.

"We will be prepared to continue the armed struggle, till a complete resolution of the conflict is achieved," he added.
