'Kiwi Muslims planned suicide attack on Oz army'

Melbourne, Dec 23: Australia's involvement in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and several activities against terrorism upset some of its countrymen. Report showed that three Australian citizens planned a suicide attack on the army of the country over taking revenge.

Supreme Court of the country on Dec 23 found the three accused as guilty and also stated that they can face lifetime imprisonment.

The Melbourne men planned to kill as many people as possible in a shootout at the Holsworthy Army Barracks in reaction to Australia's involvement in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and over the jailing of a group of Muslim men on similar charges.

The three will appear in court for a mention hearing on Jan 24, the ABC reported.

The court heard that they planned a shootout at the Holsworthy army barracks in the belief Islam was under attack from the West.
