Koli found guilty in Nithari killings

Koli was awarded death sentence by a special court for close to 19 cases filed against him for a number of rapes and murders of women and children in Nithari. The cases were brought to the notice of authorities after body parts of victims were found in a drain close to Pandher's bungalow in Nithari, Noida, UP.
With numerous cases pending against Pandher, Feb 13, 2009 saw the judgement to the death of Rimpa Haldar and was awarded death sentence. He was later acquitted by the Allahabad High Court on September 11. He was also prime accused in the rape and murder of of 8-year-old Aarti and nine-year-old Rachna as well.
Both the accused is facing trial in 12 more cases. The exact nature of the punishment will be announced shortly.
